Hello

My name is Nick Metzler, owner of NM Construction. My goal is to serve and lead clients in both residential and commercial construction projects.  This means offering quality craftsmanship, material selection, and scheduling, without overcharging. In construction, each project brings its' own unique challenges. That's why I  focus on solutions vs. problems and wake up each day with a desire to better serve you, the customer.

My Story

My grandfather and uncle built many custom homes in Green Bay, WI. I naturally picked up hours in the family business helping remodel homes during middle and high school. After high school I moved to St. Paul and continued to frame custom homes for one of the Twin Cities well known custom home builders (Woodale Builders). During the evenings I completed a carpentry program and a bachelors degree in construction management from Dunwoody College in Minneapolis. Through the past couple of years I have had the opportunity to work for some of the nations largest and most reputable general contractors (Mortenson & Boldt Construction) as a carpenter and project estimator. Having my own general contracting business has been a desire of mine that I am excited to scale and build, all with the aim to better serve the clients I work for.

As part of running my business, I work part time at Vertical Church in St. Paul working and managing construction and facility related projects.
